The Arctic, a region home to nearly 10 million people, is on the move  Each Arctic country, city, and village is different. Arctic communities differ in population size, growth rates, settlement structures, fertility, epidemiological, and migration patterns. Policy makers need to be aware of these demographic trends when planning for the future.
