Dr. Yulia Zaika - N/A - Steering committe

Yulia Zaika is the Head of the International Department at the Kola Science Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences (KSC RAS) and a researcher at the Luzin Institute for Economic Studies (KSC RAS). She holds a Specialist degree in Environmental management and MA in Interpretation (English). Yulia has been involved in Arctic science throughout her scientific career by coordinating INTERACT I and INTERACT II (International Network for Terrestrial Research and Monitoring in the Arctic, EU FP7 and Horizon 2020 programmes) at the Khibiny station of the Faculty of Geography LMSU (Murmansk region) as her secondary affiliation. Her research is featured in such journals as Cryosphere Discussions, Advances in Geosciences, The Polar Journal. She is the co-editor of the book Arctic Triumph: Northern Innovation and Persistence (Springer, 2019) and Book Reviews Editor in Polar Record journal. Yulia is also the Secretary of the IASC's Advisory Group ISIRA (International Science Initiative in the Russian Arctic).
