Dr. Susan Chatwood - Professor - Participants


Susan Chatwood is the Scientific Director of the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. She is a McCalla Professor and Associate Professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta and a status only Associate Professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She was an Arctic Fulbright Scholar and is a recipient of the Polar Medal. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of British Columbia, holds a Masters in Epidemiology from McGill University and a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Toronto. Susan has spent most of her career in remote and northern communities, her work focuses on interdisciplinary scientific approaches that advance good stewardship, health equity and population health in the Arctic.
